This large comfortable double-storey holiday home not only provides a river view as it's name suggests, but magnificent views over False Bay, where the ocean meets Rooi-Els beach, and of the surrounding mountains. You may just be tempted to spend your entire visit relaxing on the huge enclosed veranda/sunroom (large sliding doors and windows) leading onto the deck with mobile braai. The veranda is adjoining to the open plan lounge with TV and DSTV decoder (bring own smart-card), and small "Queen Anne" Falkirk coal stove for the winter months, dining area, breakfast/bar top and kitchen (six-plate gas stove and oven, 2-plate electric mini oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery). Leisure room downstairs with pool table and dartboard.
The house sleeps 10 persons: Upstairs three bedrooms with double beds and two bathrooms
(1 en suite with shower, loo, h/b and 1 full with bath, shower, loo, h/b). Two bedrooms lead onto the enclosed veranda. Downstairs bedroom (2 single beds) and 2 single beds in the leisure room for children. Third bathroom (shower, loo, h/b). A pathway from the house through the Fynbos leads you down to the river and across the road to the beach - a leisurely 5 minute walk. Single car port with built-in braai. Pet friendly - two dogs allowed.
